Holiday Tagged Out Top of 4th But Called Safe
Game 4 of the World Series and the umpires are at it again. This time they call Holiday of the St. Louis Cardinals safe when he was clearly tagged out as the second half of a double play at first base in the top of the 4th inning. This would have been the 2nd out of the inning and would have severly curtailed the rally in that half of the inning. more »
Berkmans 4th Inning 2 RBI Single Was A Foul Ball
On Tuesday Oct 19th, 2011 in Game one of the World Series, St. Louis was given a gift from the Umpires.In all my years of watching baseball I have never seen the umpires expand the bounds of Fair Territory before, not once but at 2 critical juctures in the game.
