Joe Bidens Crisis Management Style

I have always been a big believer in letting someone hang himself. I had to do a bit of digging to find a long version of Sen. Bidens comments about the impeding attack should Obama be elected. I found it and then cut it down to the portion I wanted you to hear. Pay close attention to the doom and gloom aspects of his speech. There is no hope, listening to ole say-it-aint-so Joe makes me want to take a hand full of sleeping pills and push up some daisies myself.

“Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.” he told a fundraising crowd in the Pacific Northwest on Sunday. “Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“He’s gonna have to make some really tough - I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen.”

It is the end of the speech I found most telling, he acutally has to beg this room full of die-hard Obama supporters not to abandon them when it becomes apparent that Obama has no clue how to handle a crisis.

Someone long ago gave me a piece of advice I have found to be very useful in life, “whenever someone tells you something ask yourself, why are they telling me this?”
So why is Biden telling this room full of groupies that there is going to be a crisis and during that crisis they are going to freak out? Could it be fear or possibly reality is setting in. As I said in a previous post about this speech, Biden has access to some of the best intelligence information our agencies have to offer, he is a sitting Senator and he is a Vice Presidential nomenee. Do they have information that our enemies are waiting for a weak, inexperienced, deer in the headlights President before they strike again?

What was Biden really trying to say?

Just for contrast I am placing the Gov. Palin video below. Listen to her, she is bright, energetic and hopeful.

Lets just avoid the whole crisis issue by electing a leader who can and will actually shoot back.
