Bureaucrats, unionized government employees populate our various institutions and agencies of government. There is not a great incentive to pop-up from their cubicles and make waves. Take for instance the FEC worker who upon spotting inconsistencies in the Obama campaign finances approached his superiors and was rebuked. He could not and did not push the issue further as no one in D.C. seemed to be interested. more »
