Health Care Deform Causes Autumn in March

All I will say is March 21st 2010 will forever be known as the autumn of the Constitutional Republic formerly known as The United States of America.

Among all the other pieces of legislation that have been flushed from this congress, now this Health Care Deformation bill drives one more nail in the coffin of our Constitution.

Alumni that may be proud of Texas A&M University should be alarmed at what the student body is becoming

Posted today on Craigslist Rants and Raves:

It is sad when our mostly quiet town cannot be festive for the holiday season.
I just ran two boys out of my yard (shortly after 4 am) attempting to steal 6 lighted candy canes and two lighted spiral Christmas trees. The theft of outdoor Christmas decorations is a problem I have never experienced anyplace I have lived before. The eight years I have been here it seems every year there is another rash of thefts. I opened my garage door catching two boys in the act of stealing our lights chased them off, one wearing a blue / grey hooded sweatshirt.

In a story run on the CNBC website UAW Pres Warns of Big 3 Chapter 7 Liquidation

United Auto Workers President Ron Gettelfinger said it is critical the Big 3 receive a financial aid package from Congress to avoid one or more of Detroit's auto makers from sliding into a Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Chapter 7 bankruptcy would mean a liquidation, or going out of business for an auto maker.
"We are in a crisis," Gettelfinger said. "We need a package approved by this lame duck session of Congress. If we don't get it, I'm not sure some of these auto makers will make it to mid-January when Barack Obama becomes president."

One question the Obama camp dodged was about Barack's selective service registration.
I had to register with Selective Service in 1984 when I turned 18, so did Obama also register as was the law in 1980?

I cannot verifiy the validity of the claims made on the Debbie Schlussel website but the questions have to be asked or they cannot be answered. I have been searching for my "draft card" but it was issued in 1984 and not too long after I received it I joined the National Guard and then went into the Regular Army so keeping it was not a priority. I wanted to compare the numbers as Debbie and her contact, a retired federal employee have done with the scan of Obama’s.
