They want to talk about arrogance
Found on the Obama Mania Website MSN.com
In our society the states that have death penalty laws are much more prone to put a killer on death row if they find out the killer has been bragging about his crime. We have a city full of politicians who commit the most outrageous crimes against our society, economy and our constitution and now they have the nerve to lecture us on arrogance.
Possible Criminal Charges in Financial Crisis

On the CNBC Website: Next in Financial Crisis: Possible Criminal Charges.
CNBC reports on its website that we should see criminal indictments relating to the financial system meltdown.
This would be funny if it were not true, but it is and it is politics as usual. Government causes the problem, everyone else gets blamed and congress (who had the responsibility to oversee Fannie and Freddie) gets off scot-free; on top of that, they get to keep those fat campaign donations.
“Investors and taxpayers angry about the government bailout of seemingly mismanaged financial firms can probably count on a wave of criminal indictments in the coming months, say white- collar crime experts.”
...
“I think it's coming” says securities lawyer Jacob Zamansky, principal at Zamansky & Associates, predicting the “outcry for culprits and scapegoats”
Yeah they got that scapegoats part right. Make examples out of Wall Street types and let the real criminals go free.
Barney Frank on Tax Increases
Barney Frank thinks there are too many of us not paying enough in taxes.
His may say rich but he means WORKING people.
I think at this point, there needs to be an immediate increase in spending, and I think this is a time when deficit fear has to take a second, uh, a second seat. I do think this is the time for a very important kind of dose of [unintelligible]. Yes, I think later on, there should be tax increases. Speaking personally, I think there are a lot of rich people out there who we can tax at a point down the road to recover some of this money.
Nuff Said!
Barney Frank is Conflicted
Friday Oct 3rd, 2008 while we the people were being lectured about the Credit Crisis and impending doom if the Pork Barrel Bailout / Cover-up bill did not get passed, some on the street and in Congress started to question how it really happened. Questions began to surface about Fannie and Freddie and high risk loans. Questions about oversight and regulation. Questions about the Social Engineering policies of the Government to force banks to make "Affordable Housing" loans.
In the midst of all of the turmoil Fox News Bill Sammon publishes a very serious conflict of interest charge on Barney Frank. In the article Lawmaker Accused of Fannie Mae Conflict of Interest
Unqualified home buyers were not the only ones who benefitted from Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank’s efforts to deregulate Fannie Mae throughout the 1990s.
So did Frank’s partner, a Fannie Mae executive at the forefront of the agency’s push to relax lending restrictions.
Now that Fannie Mae is at the epicenter of a financial meltdown that threatens the U.S. economy, some are raising new questions about Frank's relationship with Herb Moses, who was Fannie’s assistant director for product initiatives. Moses worked at the government-sponsored enterprise from 1991 to 1998, while Frank was on the House Banking Committee, which had jurisdiction over Fannie.
Both Frank and Moses assured the Wall Street Journal in 1992 that they took pains to avoid any conflicts of interest. Critics, however, remain skeptical.
"It’s absolutely a conflict," said Dan Gainor, vice president of the Business & Media Institute. "He was voting on Fannie Mae at a time when he was involved with a Fannie Mae executive. How is that not germane?
WHAT!?!
Barney Frank was voting on laws that would affect Fannie Mae while his boyfriend was one of Fannie's assistant directors. You have to be kidding me, this could not be true. No Lawmaker would ever allow himself to be in such a situation.
Wrong, it was a democrat so he felt reasonably sure that even if it got out, no media would ever cover it or expose the truth.
