The Politics of Reality in DC
Inside the beltway is a different world than the rest of this country. Bureaucrats, unionized government employees populate our various institutions and agencies of government. There is not a great incentive to pop-up from their cubicles and make waves. Take for instance the FEC worker who upon spotting inconsistencies in the Obama campaign finances approached his superiors and was rebuked.
