Communists, Socialsts and Radicals, Oh My
When I was younger I used to wonder why Harry Truman had such a hard time fighting the Korean war to win it. Then how Lyndon Johnson could so willingly commit our troops to defeat in Vietnam. As I grew older and more informed the pattern emerged. They both had socialist leanings, sympathies and agendas. Truman surrendered half of Europe, half of Korea and all of China to the communists. Johnson on the other hand was not satisfied with just giving Vietman to them so he decided to launch a series of socialist policy initiatives right here at home. Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society (code word for Socialist Society).
Johnson gave birth to most of the social engineering policies that plague us now. The welfare state is part of the War on Poverty, which after 40 years is just going wonderfully, wonder why the Democrats are not looking for an exit strategy.
Johnson also gave light to the idea that the laziest people should not have to suffer. It was not fair that someone who worked hard, paid taxes, kept all their bills paid on time and lived within their means should have more than someone who dropped out of school and would not keep a minimum wage job. Oh by the way if I hear Obama use the word fair again, as he did all night in the debate I am going to scream.
Democratic speak Fair = Socialist Redistribution of Wealth and punish the Evil Rich.
Socialism in America has grown by leaps and bounds under the present Democratically controlled Congress.
This latest Bailout / Cover-up bill is just one more example.
Now the Government is going to determine the value of homes?
Just when you thought it could not get much worse we find out this is only the beginning. Socialism has a new spokesman and his name is Obama.
Problem is, to use the line from the television commercial, he is not just a client of Socialism, he is the President of Socialism. He studied long and hard to achieve his credentials. Investors Business Daily Editorials ran a piece on Aug 14th 2008 Obama’s Radical Roots and Rules, I know this is probably the first you heard of it.
MSM doing a great job this election cycle.
Headline:
Election '08: Most Americans revile socialism, yet Barack Obama's poll numbers remain competitive. One explanation: He's a longtime disciple of a man whose mission was to teach radicals to disguise their ideology.
Well Obama is certainly a master of deceit and camouflage of his core beliefs (if he really has a core set of values)
The article goes on:
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's choice of the word "change" as his campaign's central slogan is not the product of focus-group studies, or the brainstorming sessions of his political consultants.
One of Obama's main inspirations was a man dedicated to revolutionary change that he was convinced "must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, nonchallenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future."
The democrat social engineering policy known as affordable housing and the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fiasco have so thrown a wrench in our economy that there is a lot of frustration and defeatism out there. Our so called free market capitalist society certainly is going passively enough. I mean really, someone please explain to me how these out right socialists have managed to brainwash enough people so as to gain control of our Government?
Project vote you may have recently heard of as they seem to be engaging in some questionable voter registration and early voting practices in the great state of Ohio.
Further along you find out about Obama’s formal training:
Sen. Obama was trained by Chicago's Industrial Areas Foundation, founded in 1940 by the radical organizer Saul Alinsky. In the 1980s, Obama spent years as director of the Developing Communities Project, which operated using Alinsky's strategies, and was involved with two other Alinsky-oriented entities, Acorn and Project Vote.
On the Obama campaign Web site can be found a photo of him teaching in a University of Chicago classroom with "Power Analysis" and "Relationships Built on Self Interest" written on the blackboard — key terms utilized in the Alinsky method.
This section about capitalism, faith and his education on the streets of Chicago bring Obama into a very clear focus:
Capitalism always was considered the enemy. "America's corporations are a spiritual slum," Alinsky wrote, "and their arrogance is the major threat to our future as a free society." Is it surprising that an Alinsky disciple such as Obama can promise so blithely to increase taxes on CEOs?
Obama calls his years as an Alinskyesque community organizer in Chicago "the best education I ever had, and where I learned the true meaning of my Christian faith." But as radicalism expert Richard Lawrence Poe has noted, "Camouflage is key to Alinsky-style organizing. In organizing coalitions of black churches in Chicago, Obama caught flak for not attending church himself. He became an instant churchgoer."
Read the whole article, then consider your vote.
Remember that Socialism and Capitalism can not coexist in the same country and it was capitalism that gave us the success that built this nation. Now the incumbents in Washington that voted for this Bailout have given Socialism a giant leap forward. It is high time to put them on the unemployment line come November 4th. Vote for ANYONE but the ones that voted for the Bailout / Cover-up bill that is running for the House or the Senate. If we can restore a Congress that understands what Article I and the Tenth Amendment of our Constitution mean, and that Government has no place in the free market at least we might stand a chance.
